We are looking for freelancers to help improve FollowUpThen on a per-project basis. Have fun improving improving a system that you already use, and make the world a more productive place in the process!
Help transform FUT from something useful into something spectacular. We are looking for someone who is UX driven (more than only making things look pretty) and is a frequent FollowUpThen user. Language, interaction, application flow – every part of the system is open for you to change to streamline and improve the user experience.
As a freelancer, you would help us on a per-project basis – for example, redesigning the signup flow, rethinking the "postpone" interaction, crafting our messaging to be more personal and intuitive, designing a viral distribution flow, etc.
As an SQL nerd, I (Reilly) will be checking various data points on your designs, giving you objective feedback. I can't promise I will not ALSO give subjective input, but the data is king – and probably more useful for both of us. With thousands of active monthly users and millions of interactions per month, you will have a chance to get some great feedback!
The main thing I am looking (in addition to UX design talent) for is a "true believer" in FollowUpThen. Extensive experience is not necessary (students / interns are welcome to apply!). In fact, if you want to use this experience as a stepping stone into the first stage of your rockstar design career, I am certain I can help. Experienced designers, are, of course, welcome to apply as well.
If you've gotten this far and you're interested, I'd love to hear from you. Send me your Dribbble profile (or relevant portfolio work), why you want to help us and what interaction you would most want to improve.
Send me an email at reilly+jobs@humans.fut.io to start the conversation.
We're looking for a believer in the potential of FUT. Someone who would genuinely enjoy improving the system, adding features they would want to use, and helping our thousands of daily users get more done with email. We are in the process of modernizing a legacy codebase and organizing our systems to support more streamlined and efficient deployments.
We are looking for help on a per-project basis only right now. Here are examples of the type of help we need (more or less in this priority):
While it is possible you are a true swiss army knife of technical prowess, it's more likely that you get more excited about certain types of projects / problems over others. For this reason, we are open to talking with several people with various skill levels / interests / experience.
We are bootstrapped, so budget / cost is of concern. At the same time, we understand the efficiency of a seasoned professional.
If you're interested in helping, send me an email at reilly+jobs@humans.fut.io and let me know what kind of technical problems you enjoy, side-projects you've done and your experience with FollowUpThen.
